| "The single best way to prevent the flu is to get a flu vaccination each fall" |

| New Orleans Urgent Care offers flu shots on a walk-in basis during our normal office
hours starting in October each year. Please phone us on (504) 552-2433 to confirm the availability and price of our flu shots. |
| We offer flu shots to all adults and children over 9 years of age and those children
over 3 years of age who have previously received the flu vaccination. We recommend that children under 3 years of age are given their flu vaccination
(which is administered in two doses) by their pediatrician. |
| With the exception of Medicare patients, all patients must pay for their flu shot by cash
or credit card at the time of the visit. We are required to bill Medicare directly for flu shots given to Medicare patients. |
| New Orleans Urgent Care only gives the traditional "killed" vaccine by injection; this
vaccine cannot cause the flu, and its most common side effect is soreness at the injection site. |
| Other vaccinations that we provide are: |
| - Tetanus |
| - Hepatitis B |
| Please call us if you require further information. |
